A couple of years ago, I challenged my long-held and fond assumption that I was good at learning. I was spending too much time on out-of-hours study, and not enough with my kids.
Since then, I've been investigating and trying out techniques for improving my ability to learn effectively, and I've been surprised at the results.
This, then, is the story of how I learned I was actually rather poor at learning; what I did to improve; and how you can do the same. You can choose to spend less time learning and more time on other things, or learn much, much more in the same amount of time.
